Carter Lake Public Library has been a cornerstone of our community since its construction in 1977 as the Edward F. Owen Memorial Library. In 2022, the library underwent a major renovation and changed its name to better reflect the library's commitment to serving the people of Carter Lake.

The new and extensive collection, knowledgeable staff, and exciting programs and events make the library a go-to destination for everyone.
