Looking for something to do? Want to take family or friends somewhere fun? The library has different community passes you can check out using your library card! Visit our circulation desk during regular hours to do so. Virtual passes are not available at this time. Check out our selection below:
The Durham Museum Pass
Making its home in one of Omaha’s most unique treasures, Union Station, The Durham Museum offers a fascinating look at the history of our region and offers a broad range of traveling exhibits covering subjects ranging from history and culture, to science, industry and more through our affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution and strong ties with the Library of Congress, National Archives and the Field Museum. This pass admits up to 2 adults and 6 children at one time. Pass can be checked out for 3 days at a time. Pass can be returned either in person or in the library drop box.

Fontenelle Forest Pass

This Pass is a household level admission (Two adults living in the same household, and 6 children, or grandchildren (under age 18.) Giftshop Discount of 10% available with use of pass. Pass can be checked out for 3 days at a time. Pass can be returned either in person or in the library drop box.
Lauritzen Gardens Pass
Lauritzen Gardens is a living museum of unique four-season plant displays, maintained to the highest standards consistent with environmental stewardship. Pass benefits extend to the named library cardholder who made the reservation and are not transferable. The patron who makes the reservation must be present and included in the visiting party.

A library pass is only valid for daytime general admission.

Omaha Children's Museum Pass
Since its inception in 1976, Omaha Children's Museum has been a special place where children can challenge themselves, discover how the world works and learn through play. It is Omaha’s primary participatory museum and provides a variety of hands-on exhibits, workshops, programs, presentations and special events that put children in touch with their ever-changing world. A library pass holder can only check out the pass for their family once every 30 days.

Pottawattamie Conservation Pass

Since 1960, our team has been passionately working to provide unique and meaningful opportunities for visitors to engage with the outdoors in Pottawattamie County something that we believe is more important than ever.
Major recreation areas within the park system include Arrowhead Park, Botna Bend Park, Hitchcock Nature Center, Mt. Cresent Ski Area, Narrows River Park, and Olde Town Park ad well as six habitat areas. County parks offer more than 100 campsites, modern and camping cabins, rental facilities including lodges and shelters, fishing ponds, river access, and miles of low-impact recreation trails.
